Symptoms can range from mild to severe illness, and appear 2-14 days after you are exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19. This does not list all possible symptoms. Please call your doctor at Eisner Health for any other symptoms that are concerning to you.

If you are experiencing symptoms and/or have been in contact with someone who tested positive, you can be tested at Eisner Health. However, you must first call us schedule a telehealth appointment. Your health care provider will ask you questions about your symptoms and schedule a COVID-19 test.  Once you have tested positive for COVID-19 for a particular episode of illness, the CDC does not recommend retesting to confirm the first test or as proof that the infection has cleared.

Seek medical care immediately if someone has emergency warning signs of COVID-19.

  • Inability to wakeup or stay awake
  • Bluish lips or face

If you are sick with COVID-19 or think you might have it, follow the steps listed on the CDC’s website to help protect other people in your home and community.

What if I’m exposed? Home quarantine instructions are available from the Los Angeles county public health office.

Stay home: People who are mildly ill with COVID-19 are able to recover at home. Home isolation instructions for people with COVID-19 are available from the Los Angeles county public health office.

Stay in touch with your doctor. Call before you get medical care. Be sure to get care if you feel worse or you think it is an emergency.

Avoid public transportation: Avoid using public transportation, ride-sharing, or taxis.

If you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Pregnancy Care

Eisner Health team midwives and doctors provide care at California Hospital and Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital 24/7.

Behavioral Health

We continue to offer the same range of services as before, by appointment only. For an in-person or telemedicine appointment, please call (213) 747-5542.

We know that many of our families are experiencing distress due to decreased money for food or rent, difficulty managing children who are not attending school, frustration at being cooped up. We have health counselors available to help connect you to resources and manage your stress. If you need help, please call

Optometry

Our optometry locations continue to provide services which include routine eye care, medical diagnostic exams, and emergency eye care needs. Please call (213) 747-5542.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy services are still available and are now offering curbside pick-up. In the interest of keeping our patients and staff safe, we encourage patients requesting refills to call the pharmacy two days before the refill is due so that we have time to fill the prescription and the patient can spend as little time as possible in the clinic.

Benefits Help

Eisner Health continues to help patients enroll in insurance, figure out a problem with insurance, or just answer general questions about health care coverage. Our support staff is available to help answer your questions and help you enroll.
